IMDS has over a decade of success producing components and serving as a systems integrator for military defense systems. This experience is characterized by a continual history of zero defects, 100 percent on-time delivery and 100 percent within budget under surge production requirements. This success can be attributed to the extensive management and quality procedures developed and institutionalized at IMDS.

The defense systems experience motivated IMDS to extend their capabilities to meet the complex and unique demands of the commercial and military aerospace industry. Thus an AS9100 certification was pursued and obtained. The certification confirms that the Quality Management System utilized for the systems integration of mechanical and electrical components at IMDS complies with the rigorous requirements of the standard and supports IMDS being a capable and qualified supplier to the aerospace industry.

IMDS is currently certified at AS9100 Revision B. As a demonstration of the commitment to continuous improvement, IMDS is vigorously working toward complying with the additional requirements mandated in AS9100 Revision C.
